Just back from holiday which very nearly turned into an expensive disaster! We stayed at a gorgeous holiday camp in Dunoon, decided to go swimming the first day. Forgot I had my engagement ring on so left it in my shoe in my locker. Totally forgot I'd put it there till I went to put it on the following day! I hunted everywhere for it, spent the morning sobbing my heart out! Sent the OH down to the pool to search for it, asked at reception, nothing had been handed in. Checked locker and floor, nothing there. Thought all was lost until my OH friend spotted a wee lassie who had been working on reception night before and asked her if she had seen it and she returned with the ring! It had been handed in! Im so lucky there was some good honest people there, I've not cried in happiness for a long time but it was definitely well deserved! :O

I handed in some flowers to reception in hope they could tell me the person that handed it in but they didn't leave a name. I'm just so glad there are nice people In this world. It looks expensive too so whoever found it would know it would mean a lot!
