    Hello :)

So who's having some different classical music for the day? By that I mean not Pachabel's Cannon or the wedding march!

What are you having and why?

We've recently discovered Ludovico Einaudi - a pianist and composer whose music is just breath takingly beautiful :) Not decided which piece yet though!

We were discussing this today and although we would both love a string quartet not sure we could find one in budget.
So while in town there was an opera singer doing her bit and h2b turns round and says ooooo INDIANS????
lmao What he meant was last time we were in town their were some men dressed as indians playing the pan pipes and I LOVE pan pipes so he suggested next time they are in town asking them if they would play at the wedding

I have to say I LOVEEEE this idea, and if they dress as indians.....what a talking point lol

thats sounds great hails!!!! I love panpipes too, and you've reminded me that mum has a panpipe cd or two, so must pinch them hehe, may even find something suitable on one of them to walk down the aisle to!

    That sounds gorgeous Lainee.

And panpipes would DEFINATELY be a talking point - that would be amazingly unique! x

I'll be having a string quartet and I want things like Vivaldi's Spring and Autumn, Air on a G String (love that name, lol), Air from Handel's Water Music etc. I want nice happy but not crazy music. xx

We are having a harpist but she can play both classical scores and contemporary tunes which sound really good. If you can't afford the luxury of a live quartet harpist then you can download youtube down loader and it will convert the vids into mp3s. There are loads of people uploading themselves playing well known tunes on the piano so although they are songs that are in the charts they sound classical which is ideal for those who want to give a classical feel but don't want classical music.
