I'm just about to try and get my backside moving as lil miss sunshine and I are off to get some bridal makeovers done with clinuqe. I'm having a make up artist come out to me on the day but I would feel better if she used my own products that I can then top up with etc and I know I like. Can't wait to see the results. I doubt I will post pics later though as I've not been able to do my hair and it looks a complete mess. Got to save myself for driving.

I'm also having the make up person use my products ... mainly because I have extremely sensitive skin and if I'm allergic to any make up it always shows as a bright red rash on my neck, NOT a good look for my wedding day!

Oh MrsH I thought you worked on a Tuesday. What a crock of crap. It would have been great if you were there too. The products were great. I love them. Got my list of what I'm buying each month and the girls on the clinique counter are lovely. The only thing they had problems finding a match for lil miss's skin as although they do make up for black skin they didn't have the right tone for lil miss but the rest looked amazing. At least they were honest and didn't try to blag it. The prices are not as bad as I thought they would be. They are what I would normally pay for no 7. Its the first time I have been to a make up counter and not come out looking like a clown.
If you want to have a play with their stuff then just pop along and see them. They are really nice and don't pressure you into buying anything and will let you try anything to give you an idea what it looks like before you buy anything. Its the same with the skin care range. If you buy it and don't like it you can take it back which is good.
I don't blame you Mel for using your own products. I think it is much better to use your own as you can top them up during the day and you know that it suits you and won't have any bad effects.

There's a macke up I got from clothes show a few years back and it was great on black skin. But the name rubbed off and mine has finished now & I cant for the life of me remember what it was called. Grrrrr

You will have to tell lil miss about it. I can't believe I found a foundation that looks good on my skin as usually they make me look white or orange.
