It will depend on your church, as there is a standard cost, but then some churches have different prices for the additional bits like bells, vergers, organist etc. Check with the church you're looking at x

You have to attend church for I think it is two out of three sundays, when the banns are read. This has to be done whether you were Christened or not, but it's a small thing to do for a Church Wedding.
I am meeting our Vicar for the first time tonight. We thought we were going to have to have the banns read in two different places, but luckily we won't now. because Mark has now lived with me for four months. So they can be read in the same place. xxxx

We didn't have to attend to hear our banns read but I did go once. We had to have them read in 2 churches, our Parish and the church where we are getting married. I think it varies depending on your vicar but most like one of you to be christened luckily my h2b had been. xx

our church is 600 it depends if you have a church of england or catholic, with c of e you only have to attend what they call a couples meeting once where you meet other couples that are getting married and meet the vicar, if you are having a catholic then you need to live within the parish and one of you needs to be catholic then you have to attend at least 4 services we looked into both as i wanted catholic but far to much palarva for us so we have settled for c of e far more relaxed lol
