Just been thinking about readings etc at the wedding. Is it traditional for any family member to say anything at the church? Never been to a church wedding so I'm unsure? Thanks x

I am not sure if it is traditional. A friend read something out at the last church wedding we went to.

You normally have two readings and generally, one would come from a family member or often a godparent of one of you. One would be someone from your side and the other from your fiance's side irrespective of family or godparent. If you've never been to a church wedding, I'd suggest speaking to the vicar about it for advice as you don't have any basis to go on. x

I'd get advice from the Vicar. All church weddings I've been to either a family member or friend will read.
We had a Catholic Church wedding ceremony, there were 3 readings (1 reading, 1 bidding prayers and 1 responsorial psalm), my cousin, sister and FIL each did one.
