Well as the title says my church sounds like its going bust, its been on the news and in the paper but ones saying next year anothers saying another 3 years a few family and friends have informed me i'm going to ring them later to see whats going on but what if they give me the fob story =/ I'm so worried all the cars are booked to go there, horse and carriage is it going to cost me extra if I have to change where there going? Can a church even go bust! I'm sure its the only one in the town centre Arghhh i'm going to ring them after 10. If there not sure what do I say to that! I will only marry in a church and thats H2Bs church I wouldn't mind its nearly £1,000 to get married there but i've ALWAYS wanted to get married there since I was little thats the most important part of the day the vows oh my sorry went onto a little rantx

Thanks well the woman on the phone said theres nothing to worry about but I have read about it, I'll just have to keep an eye out and see what goes on I just hope it says this way =/x

strange didnt think a church could go "bust" but then a lot of churches depend on donations etc for the upkeep so could be that they're not getting enough to keep it at a high standard therefore have to close.
definately ring them up and find out whats happening!!...as for ur cars etc it should be a problem changing location...u shouldnt lose money if all ur doing is changing location..they still getting your business so i dont see that being a prob but best phone them up and explain the situation!!

Is it C of E? The anglican church are really skint at the moment and can't afford the upkeep of a lot of their churches (heating and electricity bills, repairs etc), therefore they're closing down a lot of the buildings.
