    Hi all, was just wondering if any1 could tell me how much your church fees are? My church wont tell me as im not getting married til next year, but im on a budget and need to know how much to keep by for it! Im getin realy annoyed with this church now as everything sorted part from this! ARRRRHHHHHHH!!!!!

    Varies alot from area to area. Mines costing £360.50 (service, organist, verger) and banns will be separate (£34 each).

    I think the initial lot of fees for my local church was just over £200 then you had to add on extra's like the organist.

    Mine is super cheap, as we're not being charged by the minister because he's our Pastor so refuses to charge, and the church is free as we're members... so I think it all depends on what type of church, and how you're involved in it. xxxx

    mine is £555 in total

    banns fee- £22
    marriage service- £260
    marriage certificate- £3.50
    organist- £50
    verger- £20
    expenses*- £40
    choir- £60
    bells- £100

    * payment towards lighting, heating (if needed) cleaning and flowers already in church

    prices varie depending on the church, but hope that helps xx

    oh dear, a couple of u have gone over £500, i think i may have to turn into bridezilla with the church and make them tell me how much its guna cost, as this is ridiculous! arrhhh!!!!

    Ak for this years costs so you can budget- but be aware they may change. For example banns just went up to £34 for each church.

    Mine is £490

    the choir is an extra £40 and bells an extra £35, £55 fee for video.

    We had to pay banns seperate but only because we live in lincoln and getting married in Rotherham. That was an extra £34.

    Mine is £625 all in but don't know the breakdown of costs didn't feel right asking the vicar lol so just agreed hopefully I'll pluck up a bit more courage to talk to him cos at the moment i don't know anything about the ceremony lol

    Mine is £790 including choir, organist and bells as we leave. I thought it sounded a lot but is cheaper compared to some of the others above!!x
