Evening and merry Christmas to you all. Been a slight disaster with gifts I've got, I feel awful, and selfish, I wanted a certain bag, that was all I wanted, he got one slightly similar but I don't like it, it's nowhere near as nice as the one I wanted but cannot tell him, it's too big for a general day handbag.
He also got some perfume but yet again the one. He asked if that was the right one, I said no it wasn't. I sat and cried in the bedroom as was so upset, and selfish,

GF hun you are not selfish, you cannot make yourself like something you don't like, I'm sure you appreciate the effort he went to but it's unfortunate he got the wrong ones, he was very close. Just gently ask for the receipts to get refunds and then put the money towards what you do want x

So did anyone do any crazy sale shopping today?
I had a quick look online but not really anything particular I want to buy. Might pick up a few nice gifty things if I see anything for presents throughout 2016. Also need to get more Christmas gift tags for next year, hate paying full price for those things.

No I never go shopping Boxing Day. Well tell a lie I went to the yellow supermarket and got a salad for 9p and a small turkey for £6 and a large stuffed turkey crown for £9. Not very exciting though.
No plans got nye. Haven't don't anything since the year me and OH got together. Will probably stay in and put joules Holland on X

Got a thoughtful gift from step daughter, it was a box, inside were two mugs, one with D on and one with S on, plus hot chocolate, bag of sweets and a movie, she got it for a movie night in,

When I put the gifts into bags, hers did not look much but each one was pretty expensive, two gifts were in one, a lovely charm bracelet with a charm with her birth stone on it and another with her name engraved, then a couple of other charms which I added onto it. That alone was almost £100, she then had clothes, a ring, make up brushes, mascara, but I did say she won't be getting as much now due to her age.

Mine are all pinned up ready to sew but unpinned 1 and 2 and took a pic of all the tags. Also a pic of the ones sewn up in the shop. Different pattern to mine though. Just little stockings with the advent numbers on them. Will be ready for next year in our house if image them now :)
