Pleased with my wrapping efforts today.

I just want to try and get on top of things this year. Determined to be organised.

I wanted to get best mates and all the in laws wrapped and ready as we'll be seeing them at least a week before Christmas to give presents so wanted them all ready so I'm not rushing last minute, can't rely on hubby to wrap his family's presents.

My sister will be very dissappointed. All I've got her is a theory driving test disk.

Then on her birthday she'll get a shock because she's getting my car. It was meant to be going to sit at my grans in the country so she couldn't see it but a spring snapped on the way there so had to get dad to limp it back to mums drive so he could fix it but the tax ran out that day so once repaired we had to leave it on mums drive .. Good job we did as mum had her accident so we just taxed it so she had a car but sister started asking questions so I told her I've sold it but the people that are getting it said they're not in a rush so mum could use it until they get a new car. Once mums sorted it's getting shipped off to just sit until her birthday in January. Apparently she keeps moaning to mum saying how she likes it and it drives nice and why did I sell it why didn't I think of her hahaha the look on her face will be priceless

I don't need it anymore so it's easier than selling it. It's on an 08 plate so it's not the newest but it's only done 35000 miles it's white with black wheels so quite a stylish little thing

Yeah .. She'll be chuffed on her birthday but might have a face on her for the month between Christmas and her birthday LOL

Everyones trees look really good, we'll be doing our decs this weekend. We have a tree, some lights for the window and some other tinsely things to wrap around things and drape over things.

My tree lights aren't being delivered until late! Had email saying between 12 noon and 9pm! I wanted to decorate my tree this morning!

I've put my foot down and we're getting a small-ish real one this year, but I have to wait until the 11th.

The only decorating I've done is putting up SILs advent calendar. They have put photos up where it normally goes and her and MIL were fretting for hours. Mentioned it to me (I sit in the corner quietly not trying to upset anyone) and I told them where I would put it they said that's a good idea and within 5 mins it was done.
That and a few bits wrapped

It's good to start sorting out wrapping, less to do closer to Christmas day.

I may Do more later today depending on when the lights are delivered.

We do ours the 2nd weekend in December hence the wait. But I have the day off on the 11th so having a lovely Christmassy day then.

Ooo I'd love a day off around then. May ask for a couple of days before Christmas because I have holiday left to use

I genuinely don't really want or need anything. I'd rather just have money and put it in the wedding fund! Mum knows I will do that with it though which is why she wants to actually get something lol.

I've wrapped a few xmas presents but will do more tomorrow once LO at nursery as he kept trying to rip the paper and get the Sellotape

Don't know why it's the wrong way round lol.

To be fair I have searched "Christmas/birthday presents for ______" on numerous occasions lol.

Sometimes you need a little inspiration. I've been stuck with what to buy OH!
