I don't think that is a bad price with dips and staff. Where we live the best deal we found was £400 for 3 hours hire and 5 dips. But in the end decided not to go for the fountain considering we are having nearly 20 kids at the wedding, and if one speck of chocolate touched my dress I think I would blow up! :)

This Saturday I will finally be Mrs Codling!

mine is 249 including a uniformed attendant and five dips for 3 hours, we also get a free bottle of champagne because we booked it at a wedding fair :) xx

Mine is £150. But its self service and they only provide the chocoloate. So we have to provdie the stuff to go with it, ie fruit and marsh mellows. But we are happy with that. I cant wait! yummy, lol
I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

I soooo wanted a chocolate fountain (just for myself - sod the guests) but then like Gregorysgirl pictured what the kids and especially my kids would do with it, so opted for a sweet station instead. Sounds like a fair price but I would shop arounf a little while longer. V envoius tho yummmmmm xx

I too love chocolate but the thought of it getting on my dress is something that put me right off. They do look lovely though. Would it not be cheaper to buy everyone a chocolate bar each ;)
CommentAuthorMinniemoocher
I went to a wedding and the chocolate was so gloopy they watered it down with so much oil - totally put me off - make sure they don't do that in front of guests!!

We are having a candy buffet instead, at least my toddler coming at me with sticky fingers I can deal with, covered in chocolate she will wonder why mummy is running away, lol. x

I went to one of the old fashioned sweet shops near me and they said that they would do a deal for me if I were buying in bulk (I asked about fillings for favours) and he also said they are setting up a sweet buffet thing up very soon. Its the one in Polesworth if you want to get in touch with him to find out how much it would be.

Haha I hate to tell you this but I'm sure it is classed as saving money when its still over budget lol. I would say though that you deserve to have what you want so don't let the budget get in the way. If you have the money and want it go for it.

Yes I would say it's a good price, mine is £300 with 6 dips for 2 hours, the one we wanted was dearer but it would run for longer with 6 dips,( doesn't matter about that one now anyway as she gazzumped us!!) Also depends on the size of the fountain. Mine is a 36" we don't need any bigger than that as we are having around 80 people in the evening. Book it hun!! xx
oh I do I do I dooooo!!!
