When we started planning the wedding it was the only thing my h2b requested. i dont mind the mess although i really think someone should start selling wedding dress bibs haha x
CommentAuthorShell
I do like the look of them and the idea of them, seem quite popular at other weddings ive been too but its a big NO NO for me im afraid!!!!! I seen the mess that the kids got themselves in and I thought no chance of me having that, lol...... Were having a candy station instead :) xxx
CommentAuthorHeidi
Were getting one for ours as my stepmum is getting it for us, its a lot of money for something that isnt essental, but on the other hand they look lovley and allways go down well with the guests! I wudnt worry to much about the mess or with children being around as most companys only hire them out with a person there to over see whats happening for hygine reasons.x

we are having one as we are having a buffet and no desserts, so thought it would be nice, there is staff to look after ours, so fingers crossed it wont be too messy x

I was going to but the budget won't allow it now :( x
CommentAuthorjellytot
if our venue allowed it then we'd have one...but apparantly its against their health and safety regulations :( x
CommentAuthorvickyG
how is it against health and saftey... its only chocolate lol xx

It was an idea we toyed with in the early stages of planning, but as a lot of the ladies have said, chocolate fountain + kids + white/ivory dress = MASSIVE disaster!! Plus we weighed up the cost side and for what it is it's a ridiculous amount of money, you're talking £300 for dessert alone and imo unless you're providing for 150 guests then it's not really financially feasible. They do look rather fab though! xxx
It's right what they say

But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

Against health and safety how exactly? I've never heard that one before and I've worked a gadzillion wedding venues. AH Unless they mean risk from trailing wires from fountain to socket, now that could be why xxx

we have 140 guests so it will work out cheaper for us to have the fountain and i think the guests will love it, but i wont go near it. x

ive booked a fountain for ours. it was a bit of a childish impulse thing. we went to a wedding fair and there was one set up, if you booked it that day you got £50 discount and a bottle of champers on the day. my inner chocoholic took over and i had to have one! lol x
CommentAuthorGregorysGirl
We would have loved one for ours, saw one at a wedding fair and i had to drag h2b away from it, lol, but decided that with all the kids and my dress, i could quickly turn into a bridezilla if i got any on me, so we are opting for a candy buffet instead, so i get to have the sweets in my colour theme, and the kids will be happy too! x
Finally reunited with the love of my life

my best friend has a big one of these so she is lending it to me for the wedding so we only need to buy the chocolate and dips which is really good x
