Really unsure on wedding cakes at the mo, love the look of chocolate with the cigarillos around the edge but also love sponge with a classic look. All my fiance says is "babe it's upto you" arghhhh it's our day not just mine lol.

I've thought that but don't really want it looking completely different, I'd rather all choc or all iced. Cant imagine a choc cake with icing :-/ xx

We couldnt decide either so we are having four tiers all different flavours ;-) Including a chocolate tier with icing...........it can be done!!

I would have both lol, my friend had 4 different flavours at her wedding at everyone thought it was lovely, why not have sponge with icing and chocolate and white chocolate? x

im having me wedding cake all different flavour tiers. my engagment cake was the same we had one choc and one sponge all covered in white icing it tasted lovely.

have chocolate cake covered in chocolate and sponge cake covered in chocolate, that way the insides will be different but the outside will look uniform ;)

We're having traditional 3 tier fruit cake BUT having a separate chocolate cake made to be served up, but it just won't be on display. It helps my mum's friend is doing the cake, but it's worth asking! That way you can have what you want served up, but the look you want for photos/display

I'm going to buy a 3 tier swan shape cake stand. I'm going to have the smaller size cake a fruit cake, the middle size, chocolate and the bigger size a sponge. I love sponge H2B will no doubt go for the choc as he loves the stuff, but there is also a varity for everyone. :)
