Hi girls, just wondering if any if you have bought wedding dresses from China? Did it fit perfect and was the fabric high quality? Iv found a website that makes exactly the same replicas of Mori Lee dresses but for £700 cheaper! Is it worth taking the risk or do I play It safe and spend more money on a dress closer to home? Many thanks in advance xx

My bridesmaid dresses are from china but they're not a copy or anything so they're fine, I don't think I could trust a china company to make my wedding dress tho x

I wouldn't risk it...not for a wedding dress. I've bought online from china and the dresses were fine, but they were just dresses, not copies of a designer.

For a designer copy you have to take into consideration, it's a cheap copy, so it will be different.
It's also illegal and you risk customs seizing it. Then you loose your money.

Also, if it is badly made, colour turns out different or doesn't fit... You have no guarantee and again have lost your money, or will have to pay for alterations.

I've heard a few stories where it turned out to be good, but I've heard of far more where it didn't.

Look for a pre loved or a sample sale instead. Much safer.

I would have to agree, there are some things I would risk it for, but not for a wedding dress. I've heard a few horror stories in that regards!

the bridesmaid dresses I love are nearly £200 each but I can get the same dress from china for £35 each! But I think my mum is still going to make them, as I don't think I can get the colours I want anywhere lol good luck! x

I honestly wouldn't risk it. A few people I know got theirs from an outlet at a cheaper price, might be worth a look. x
