hi guys,
i have been looking around for ideas and have come up with a few! i want the children to have different favours to the adults! as there will be speeches, i completely understamd if kids become very bored! so i thought i would put a small decorated box together that contained some little travel type games and bits that will keep them occupied during the speeches! i also thought of putting a little fairy poem in for the girls with a nice little charm and some fairy dust in little pendant jars so they can make a wish :-) i tought the idea was really sweet! but if anyone has any ides of wjat i can put in the boxes for girls and boys that would be great.

I think your idea for the girls is lovely. Thats really sweet.
I cant really think of anything, but boys would prob be happy with a little something to give them a bit of a laugh.

all I can suggest is that you dont get anything noisy - yes you want the kids to be occupied so that you can get on with the speeches - but the last you need is kids shouting because they've won or lost a game or indeed to have a game that makes noise!!

I think the fairy stuff is lovely - but depending on the kids ages yes puzzles and colouring in that they can do on their own and quietly!!! that would be my advice!! hehe

But it is very sweet that you are thinking so much about them so thats lovely!

We have 1 three year old coming and It hadnt crossed my mind what to do with him!! eeek!

To be honest, kids will shout whether the are playing a game or not, if they are bored they will shout and scream and throw tantrums, lol. Its something you cant control, if a kid wants to scream they will scream. I know my 2 do anyway, lol

im also making my own chololate truffles! i can cook ( not perfectly mind! ) but i can no way make a cake!!!! but everyone has always commented on my truffles and i quite often give boxes of truffles away, but for the wedding ill fill them with strawbery and lemon fondants :-) its much cheaper. time consuming.....yes! but worth it! x

that should keep them entertained for abit. We are going to have to do something similar but more awkward for us as we only have one child going.

we're having plastic animals so that they can play "farms" ... we're having a really traditional wedding and my dads a farmer so kinda all ties in together :) xx

toy jewellery for the wee girls like rings and bangles and little army soldiers fr the boys did this for my best friend at her wedding went down a storm they were totally enamoured and silent. Be doin the same a t mine probably xx
