I have a young son and not sure what to do with him at the wedding. A relative will most likely keep an eye on him for us and maybe have a few toys to play with but he will atill want our attention. Also there may also be other young children there so does anybody have and clue as what to do with them? My son is 13months so too young for many things

I think you can get nanny-type companies these days to come and organise a creche for you - would this just be for the ceremony?

His grandparents are happy to look after him at the reception and such like so i guess it would just be for the ceremony. The nanny company sounds good and it means the adults can watch in peace.

at the last wedding i went to they had bubbles instead of confetti, it kept my 2 amused for ages and because we werent on the front row or right next to the happy couple they didnt float into view for the photographer! also take something like a colouring book or a fav toy or something to occupy him but isnt noisy lol x

I never thought about keeping the kids ammused while the ceremony in taking place. Im getting married in a church so I will have to have a think about what I can do. Coz alothough the service doesnt last long, it will seem like forever to the kids.

Our daughter will be about 18 months old when we get married but she is going to be a flowergirl, so she will be occupied briefly, but during the ceremony my best mate who is being my MOH is looking after her and will take her out if needs be but we wouldn't mind having her up with us if needs be, we wouldn't want her to not be there when we say I do, even though she is too young to understand anyway. But we will be getting a bubble machine for the reception and have some games to keep them occupied in the garden. And because our reception is in our own garden all the kids can play inside if they really want to after the meal. x
