Hi All, Ive got PCOS and been trying to conceive for like ever, anways was tlaking to my mate last night and said I was late on AF again about 2-3wks late but this is the norm for me, but ive got pregnancy symptoms that I have also most months wind, need to wee alot, bloated tummy, tender boobs anways she mentioned something called a chemical pregnancy where the fertilzied egg does not implant into the uterus so in theroy u are pregnant but than its classed as a very early pregnancy, ive done 4 tests and all negative im not that to bothered about conceiveing now until after we wed but its driving me mad this been late on period thing my mood and temper is out of control and not knowing from one month to the next when you going to come one, Im on Metformin and trying to lose weight but not helping

hun might be to early to see try it in a few days again the first morning urine or blood test at the doctors they can tell earlier...

what is metformin? is that a contraceptive? my friend has the same condition and she is pregnant with her 4th so it will happen! this one was a complete surprise to her. i have all the pregnancy symptoms myself all the time but ive had an iud in for the last 6 or 7 months and happens when i should be coming on but my periods have stopped with it. i used to feel like i was pregnant but now i know its just the iud as its every month!
metformin in used for diabetis or thyorid cant remember which... id go doctors hun xx

Yeah im on metformin but not got diabetes, its to reduce insulin resistant xx

hi, I also have PCOS and it gives me no end of grieve. It took almost 4 years of trying to conceive our daughter and even then the pregenancy never once showed up on any pregnancy test, not even the doctors one. In the end I had to go for a scan which finally confirmed I was 11weeks pregnant. It was really awful not knowing either way and I fully expected to be told 'no, your not pregnant just on a long cycle'. we are now trying again as it is meant to be easier and quicker second time round but I don't hold out much hope espectially as i've only had one period since june :(
