i'm just sounding off but my H2B has really cheesed me off by saying when he wins the lottery what would i like ?(he'll never win it btw) i said i'd like to brin the wedding forward, he bit my head off and really upset me.In the next bit of the conversation btw he's at work (lorry Driver) i said i was finding it difficult to find wedding favours for the men , once again he bit my head off and said ''we not buying presants for everyone who's coming to the wedding'' well i snapped and dtold him '' i will buy what the hell i like it's my day and i'm having what i want and i dont care what you think i'm the one paying for all these extra's'' well thats when the silence started ha ha ha. Am i being unreasonable? plus i think he's hearing a little too much about the wedding, but i'm excited even though it's not till jan 2012!

Just ignore him he's a man and it comes natural to them to act like complete idiots sometimes!!! You do whatever you want for your wedding and talk about it as much as you want I would do it more so now just to annoy him lol but then i'm quite evil when I want to be!!! :-) xx

No, my H2b didn't know what wedding favours were either. He was mortified when he found out we were supposed to buy presents for our guests! He also visibly flinched when he found out how much wedding cakes cost too... mean sod.
And too right, if you're paying, buy whatever you like!

so can i joolsy, and talk about mr tight he don't even send his mum b/day cards coz it cost money i know things are tight for everyone but that goes too far, but at least for the past 18 months everyone has has cards from him coz i remind him and introduced him to moonpig god knows what i ll get for my 40th this yr best be a card at least dont expect a prezzie as we will be in tunisia which brings me too what he said about that '' we can use this as our honeymoon'' well that was the last straw lol. thanks you lot have made me smile about it and im only sounding off as the kids dont know what im on about poor lambs

My H2B didn't know what favours were either! All our parents keep looking at me as if to say "what on earth are you buying those for, we didn't have them in our day "blah blah blah why don't you all just shut the **** up lmao!!! Then the H2B looks at me as if to say "told ya so" well you can shut the **** up as well lmao!!!!

Don't worry its just men! Last night I was looking for some reciepts of deposits we have paid, I asked Matt if he knew where they were and he said "all your stuff is over there" I glared at him and he rephrased by saying "sorry darling I mean our wedding stuff is over there"! I wouldn't mind him saying that if he had left the planning to me then he could call it 'my stuff' but he's a real groomzilla!

It really is a man thing. I have quite convincingly deluded myself into believing that my H2B's lack of interest is actually LOVE, he loves me so much that he doesnt care what happens as long as i am happy lol. To some extent that is probably true in the real world. I got a little frustrated before and i just had it out with him. Said i thought he wasnt being particularly helpful and i would like his input.
