    Gibraltar. Cheap flights, English wedding licence. You can even stay on the costa del sol and get a taxi/ drive over for the day.

    Look into Greece. Where getting married in Kos! It's a lot less expensive then getting married over here!

    Wait for a sale on air fares or package holidays to the US. Most states make it very easy to marry at short notice and the marriage will be valid in the UK.

    We looked at las vegas but was working out at over 3k.

    Las Vegas isn't the only option. Most states allow you to get married without a wait/blood test. If you can travel on short notice there are usually good last minute deals for New York or Florida.

    In Kos, as long as your paper work is all ready you can marry the day you arrive (this is what our wedding planner told us. she is based in Kos) . Travel agents will tell you a minimum of 7 days (which they did with us) to get you to book a 2 week holiday!
