Obviously it depends how far you want to travel but me and H2B are getting married at The Ferry House Inn in The Isle of Sheppey. It's a lovely barn with wooden beams and for 70 people (the max they can fit in the barn area) is 4k. That includes the ceremony, reception drinks, 3 course meal, toasting drinks, a drink with dinner and an evening buffet x x

There's a gorgeous venue in Titchfield, Hants called the Tithe Barn. Not sure it'll be cheap though, but worth having a look on the internet and enquiring may be?

How about the English wine centre? That's a barn and looks quite reasonable. It's in east Sussex sp maybe a bit far?
