Hey, I feel like I have been searching for somewhere for 3 weeks straight 8 hours a day and I just can not seem to find anywhere within our budget :-( At the moment I feel like giving up and just not getting married. Does anyone know of any cheap wedding venues that would come under £5000 including food. We're not even fussed about having a 3 course meal rather a hog roast so I thought that would bring costs down. Thanks!

How many people are you looking at having for the day? If you look at week day or out of season dates you can get some better deals. We got married at a large hotel in east Grinstead and could have knocked venue cost inc food under 5k if we had 50 people and hadn't chosen a Saturday in August.
We have about 85 people but around 15 - 20 are children. He has such a big family else I think it would be a lot easier!

How about just a large venue/space but on a weekday then decorate yourself and get in caterers/do it yourself? Depends what you want really but that's an option!
