    Hi ladies

My friend got married back in April and her male Bridal Party members wore suit's that were hired from an online company.

The suit's cost £57 for tails, waistcoat, cravat and hanky. Bargain! The cheapest I found is £105. The only problem is I'm a bit of snob and think you pay for the quality and if it's that cheap surely there has to be something wrong? Well, my friend says no, they were perfect and done the job.

I'm very tempted to order them! But now I'm stuck on colours.

Do I order all black tailsuits, with ivory damask waitcoats. The Ushers have a Silver cravat and hanky, my dad and the best man have a Navy Blue Cravat and hanky and Steve my Groom have a Fuchsia cravat and hanky.

Is this too much colour and do you think it's too cheap to be true?

i dont think its too cheap, sometimes the suits that cost you loads can be the same as cheaper ones, cant you see the suits before you order them so you can see the quality, think it may be a bit too much colour i prefer everyone the same but thats just me, would look better in photos too

    Hi Melody,

I think the colours are ace and definitely not too much, as the only really eye catching colour is the Grooms cravat, which I'm guessing matches you guys anyway so you have to make him look special too. As for the quality I have no idea but if you can decent wedding dresses online these days for as little as £65 I don't see why not. Maybe if you ask them for a material sample you will have a better idea!! Good luck with it all, Zoe xx

I think this is the same place im getting mine from?

I saw them at a wedding fair back in september last year and they had a few samples with them and honestly the quality was fantastic....i took a fabric sample away with me and showed my mum and she was really impressed too!
The reason he said they can do it so cheap is because they have no shops so no over heads and they get them wholesale so no middleman, which cuts the costs even more, which goes directly to you!

I for one will defiantly be using them ................infact i have already pre booked mine ;-) (black prince edward suits with ivory waistcoats and burgandy cravets for all)
Didnt see the point of buying when he would NEVER wear it again.......doesnt have the same feeling as saving your dress!

Hails, F YOU? lol ohh that looks rude haha..

I didn't really pay much attention to the guys suits at my friends wedding, wish I had nw. She reckonsd they are perfect so I think I'm gonna go for it. It's just like buying a normal suit, putting in your measurements, simple.

What do you think on the colours??

And thank you Zoe, glad you like it x x x x

We looked round for hire suits and did consider the online offer - but in the end we bought the suits for the best.man, my dad and my son who's the usher. In the end we only paid about twenty pounds more per suit and they get to keep them as well. It wasn't because of quality that we didn't get them because I'm sure they're good quality, we just wanted value for money as well. We did hire for h2b but not online.

to be honest i dont see the point in hiring when you can go in to bhs and pick up a jack reed suit, for 60-80,glenn got his there last year and it was on offer he had the shirt jacket trousers shoes and tie for 69!!

Not at all hun, doesn't mean they are cheap quality. My suits are from a top shop in the town i live, i'm getting 6 navy tails, with waistcoat and cravat and a little boys shirt/waistcoat and cravat all for £293!

The shop sells the highest quality clothes ie ted baker and the suits are very smart

i went to debanhams to day, to look for a longer lenghth jacket for Mr lala .... the sign above them said "to hire" ...i asked the assistant ( an older man) if they had any like that for buy not hire .....

Me ....do you sell any jacket like this
Him ....no. and you wouldnt want to pay that much
me ... i wouldnt be so sure
him ...well it would be about £300
me ....oh is that all thats very good
Him ....(mouth open no sound )
Him ....well you could have it made but it would be the same amount of money
Me ... well money isnt an issue
Him well you could get it made to measure but that would cost more
Me ...... oh thats no problem
Him ......well most people hire to save money
Me .......well my fiance wouldnt dream of hiring a suit , i think well have it made in america..theres a much better level of customer service there

I cant believe that he would assume that i cant afford stuff .....cheeky git

Well Tiggs "the point" of hiring a suit is because he isn't going to wear tails again and he has numerous amounts of suit's as he has to wear one every day to work so he doesn't want to wear a normal suit.
