    I need some advise.

I had chose my Maid of Honour to be my witness and my h2b has his best man as his. However, my MOH has been an absolute nightmare through the entire process and I don't think i want her name on the register as quite frankly i don't think she deserves it. Has anyone changed their witness leading up to the wedding or has anyone done it on the day?

    Help will be appreciated!

I am in the sam postion and I dont want the person that I chose to sign the witness for me anymore. For the same reasons but I am in more of a pickle.. as I cant let down my MIL and I dont want to make her upset! So i am just having to deal with it. But I think you need to have a chat with her and tell her how you feel and if things get better then keep her but if it doesnt then change the person that sign the reigster. its an Important day and you shouldnt be made to feel like that - hope it all works out.

I hashed it out with her a few days before the wedding and im glad i did because the registrar never asked me before the ceremony who my witness was. They did however ask as we were signing the register. So if they do that to you, just say someone elses name and then if your MIL kicks up a fuss just say you cant even remember being asked. I argued with my husband (so weird saying that now haha) that i wasnt asked at the ceremony and he said i was asked and i said my moh's name and i was like did i really? he just nodded and laughed. It went by so quick!!
