Is anyone else feeling weird about changing there surname?!!!

No.. i cant wait to change my name..
Hill is my Married name.... been divorced for 9 years now..
New name will be Goddard... Yes Trisha Goddard lol x

We have discussed having both of our surnames, but it would look abit ridiculous!

i went from simpson to mollins

and im already sick of havin to spell Mollins to people over phon r face to face GAHH

ill be glad to stop having to spell my name out to people!!! they always get it wrong or add an s at the end!!!

I think i may have problems.

people might think im messing around when i tell them my name.....
especially over the phone when they cant see me lmao!!

I cant wait but I am nervous about it! I like my surname but not so keen on the H2Bs, it will be nice to have the surname though, we will be a proper family then! xxxx

I can't wait to change my name, the only thing I'm not changing is my email address. It's not important but I like the thought of having my maiden name somewhere and keeping some part of my family's identity

I set up an Email Address a few weeks ago... so that its ready and waiting.

H2B sends me little love Emails on it occasionally !!!

im going from spencer to pollock which i upset my h2b few weeks ago when drunk and telling the tale of when someone asked me what my married name will be and i replied oh dont oops its going to be strange as my 2 kids are spencers and its why i never changed my name when i got divorced but although i will find it strange having a different name to the kids i think it would be even stranger having another mans name than my husbands

iam lokking foward to changing my name but also bit worried as myself and my little girl have the same last names (her dad isnt really involved and didnt want his name on the birth certificate) when me and h2b get married we will have the same last names but my little girl wont :( and any kids we have in the future will have the same last names as us but not as my little girl..im really worried she's going to feel like the odd one out and dont really know what to do about it :S

I am not looking forward to changing my name. H2B's name just doesn't seem to flow well with my first name IMO. I'm going from Amy McHugh to Amy Bee. Keep using it for things (like my forum name here!) so I get used to it a bit. I did try to convince hubbie2b to take my name, but he was having none of it. Thought of hyphenated but Bee-McHugh doesn't flow well either, and Mchugh-Bee just sounds funny, especially as I've always loved the name Toby for my first son.

I guess I'll get used to it!

I really wanted to keep my surname but h2b said he'd only marry if I changed it! Lol! I even asked him if he'd mind if I double barrelled it but that was a no no to! I guess fell-jones would be a bit much lol! X

I've just found my new signature... going from a very spikey Freyja Purchase to an F C wiggle wiggle y!!! (Surname Carney)!
