Can someone bump a thread or something and i'm going honeymoon on monday for two weeks and i havent started changing my name yet and wont untill i get back, do you think that matters the fact i would have left it 3 weeks to start changing my name?

no i dont think it does hun, as long as your passport is still in date. One of my friends got married in march and is travelling in august on her old name. id double check but im pretty sure youl b ok xx

You can change your name anytime after the wedding so waiting until your back from honeymoon wont matter at all - just as long as you have booked your honeymoon in the same name as your current passport.

you don't actually ever *have* to change your name - so you can do it at any time you like. You just need to make sure everything matches - especially passport/tickets etc
So I think the 'rule' is do it when ever you like, or not at all but do it to everything or nothing x

As long as your maiden name is on the passport and on the booking it doesn't matter at all. Most companies anyway require you to send them your wedding certificate, I no it took my friend nearly 3 months to get all of her details changed. Don't worry go enjoy your honeymoon :D x
