Good luck. When you pass it's the best feeling in the world.

It took me 5 tests to pass, I think I only passed on my last one because I didn't tell anyone, I kept it a secret so had no pressure. I must have spent about £4000 on learning and tests but its been worth it for the freedom.

You'll get there in the end :)

I'd go into your local post office I'm sure when you send the paper one off you don't have to pay for the card one double check I'm positive, they will give you the forms and usually have the photo booths in the majority of them x

if you're changing you name or address it's free ... even if you're changing from paper to photocard. I've looked into this just last week as my sister wanted to change hers from paper to photocard too. When I changed mine to photocard I changed address at the same time and sent them the cheque for £20 (shows how long ago it was!) and they returned the cheque to me.

As the ladies have said your old one will have expired quite some time ago so you will need to get a new licence
