I was having this problem do i go back to my natural colour or not but then i had my hair dyed and i love it like this and as its darker colours you probably wont see it much on the pics anyway so think im going to leave it like this but then im also thinking of having extensions so might have to see what colours i can get them in. Do what you feel comfortable with i decided not to go back to my natural colour coz i think its boring

I have dark brown hair and I am having 2 red stripes added. Had it done back in October and H2B was well impressed, so thought I would have it redone.

I think my hair's far too used to being dyed now. I like my natural colour, but am starting to get flecks of silver in it (not good at 28!) but then I found this red, which I lovedddd, but now I want to be a bit more of a grown up. LoL

CommentAuthorLoubie
Pouchie-loo, have you had hightlights before? I only ask so that you have them done a good few months before so that you know what its going to look like, and then if you dont like it you can change it back??
CommentAuthorCeCe
I will be getting it coloured and having a few lowlights added to make the best of my hair...

I get bored easy with my hair, going to get my mum to dye it for me again soon, post box red. Definatly won't be natural for the wedding, probably chocolate brown as I love that colour. My mum has naturally very dark brown hair and its beautiful I'm stuck with mud brown. Dad is dark hair too, think I'm the postmans.

My natural colour is very dark brown, so I dye it that colour when the silver hair starts showing through, I am wearing my hair long and wavy part up/down for the wedding, so I bought some hair extensions to give it more body. I am going lighter in colour after the wedding as I think it makes me look younger by at least 10 years, but I am waiting until after the wedding because I am also having it cut, and giving my hair to the princess charity. I wont dye my hair for the wedding because I would also have to dye the extensions, and I really do prefer the dark brown colour with long hair, but once the wedding is over I am having it cut and dyed a lighter brown with highlights.
I can resist anything but temptation

My a hairdresser my hair is been so many different colours, when I meet my hb2 I had bright purple hair and it that colour for about 2 years, iv changed it back to brown as I set my mobile hairdressing bussiness and brown was abit easyer to handle on my own not getting it done in the salon, but for my wedding im going to dye it a plum purple with the bright purple highlights in it,

You are all very brave, I am sticking with my natural colour but I am spending a lot of time taking vary good care of it so it is glossy and shiny for the photos. I am just scared that I will look at the pictures in 20 years and think, can believe you had those red highlights... so au natural it is for me x

I have red hair at the moment and am trying to grow it having had it all cut off in November. Am toying with the idea of going back to my usual chocolate brown colour but with the addition of a few caramel highlights as I think it will be easier to find hair pieces to match in brown if I need them xx

Hmm you know i might treat myself to some highlights. For the first time not bright red ones some nice brown ones.
I detest my natural colour it just looks like mud and however much i condition it it still doesn't look glossy, feels soft but doesn't shine.
CommentAuthorGlitterpix
I've gone from pale pink, to blonde, now to silver for my big day in 2 months :D
For the honeymoon I'm going lilac :)
CommentAuthorKate4
My hair feels better after a colour, softer, silkier and more glossy so I dye it more or less my natural colour just for the added shine. Semi permanent so I don't get roots it just washes out. I might go a teeny bit lighter for the day though as it's a bit more summery and I won't look as washed out in photos as I can do when my hair is a bit darker than natural colour.
CommentAuthorloustew2012
im going today to get the colours stripped but im getting a blonde highlights as h2b loves my simba look so if i try it out just now and looks ok then ill get them touched up. still waiting on my hair growing and getting very impatient about it.....grrrr lol xxx

Ive been bright red for years! i've now decided i want it brown for the wedding, as i feel red would be too much with my white dress. Its turning out to be a right buggar to get out though :(

I've left my hair to grow out natural. Its all natural now. I always dyed it since I was 15, and you could tell it was dyed before it got cut out, my hair was all different colours. And my point was that in the sun, it looked awful :( So I've gone au natural and will be getting extensions weaved in at the end of this month to get used to it, then getting them re-put-in keeping them in for the wedding :)

Im originally a blonde, im talking proper light blonde, i dyed it black after a horrendous hair accident with a hair colour, all i could do was dye it black, but since then ive seperated my hair so i have a section in the front that changes colours often but the back always stays black. Ive been, magenta, pinkissimo, post box red, various purples, blues, greens and even a bright yellow. For the wedding i guess i'll either pick a colour that works with my style, cos if im getting it loose curled then how it is works now, but if im having the front lifted then all your goiung to see is magenta.
As my wedding is gothic and wedding colours are staying with blacks, white and deep red, im sure my now @natural@ hair will work fine, especially now ive found tattoo lips too. they work like the tattoos in kids bubble gum and last for a good 8 hours
