my original date was meant to be april 16th as when i bought a dress for a ladies night that i was going to that was the date that the shop assistant put but after mentioning it to family they reminded me that my grandparents wedding anniversary was the 9th, spoke to a few people and we have now changed the date to then.... my way of sharing my special day with them (they both died several years ago) plus it means i have 7 less days to wait :D xx

We are getting married on my grandparent's anniversary (Gramps is still alive and cried when I told him as he was so happy - Nan died 5 years ago and miss her so much) - August 4th 2012
I also have Mike's grans engagement ring.
Didnt realise how traditional we both were until we got engaged!

In fairness i was expecting at least 2 people to be upset by the date but the rest of my family have been great, i was very close to my grandparents and pretty much lived with them til i was old enough to leave home, they would have been married 62 years on my wedding day so hope the date brings me the same luck. XxX

I have know my soulmate for 27 years and on the 6th August
I married him and became Mrs Garnham.
It was most definitely the happiest day of my life.
