the chairs at my venue are in need of a bit of tlc and are a bit battered and really dont go with my colours the only problem is I really dont like chair covers! What can I do to disguise or at least distract from the fact they're all a bit tatty what doesnt involve chair covers?

Hire some in or if you have the time, get lots of coloured ribbon and tie them to the backs...

I was thinking organza but wasnt sure if it'd look a bit odd? I'd imagined it but never seen any pictures so dont know if it'd actually look right.

I had thought about hiring in chairs too but cant seem to find anywhere near me that does them :(

    and I love those ribbons!!

You could hire chairs or you do get different chair covers some with ruffles etc?

I also really dislike chaircovers and was going to do ribbons like that in our 7 colours at first but I think we're struggling for time with setting up. Will probably tie bows from scraps of the table runners I'm making.

Cakey is there a marquee-hire in your area? They also hire out chairs.

I don't like chair covers and luckily the chairs at our venue are lovely and match in so well. However if they didn't I would just tie ribbon around them, unless they where really bad then i would hire or give in to chair covers

What about Organza that is quite wide so you can wrap it round the backs of the chairs if that makes sense? x

I think i'm going to buy some organza and go up and have a mess around and see what works. I'm thinking something along the lines of organza wrapped round the back and over the top with a bow on the back. I'll work it out when I get there! lol
