I love the Tie.4 option!! THey look so different!! LOVE IT!

Thinking on your theme, I think my vote would be for no.5 - with 1 as a close second place. I think satin is more in tune with the elegance, classy type feel. 3 just looks messy to me. 4 is a nice different twist on chair sashes, but I think it's a bit more soft fantasy feel - especially in organza. no. 2 kinda reminds me of the "belt" on a geisha girls outfit, and makes me think more "oriental".

I like tie 2, but I would have a brooch thing on it (like in tie 5)

I quite like the look of 2, but it only would look good on square backed chairs... what type of chairs are you having?

I'd go for organza, as gorgeous as satin is I think it can be a little too much for chair covers and I'd go with 4 or 5. Probably more 5 than 4, I do love 4 it's gorgeous but I think it would make your eyes go funny lol x

I think definitely organza, it's so much softer.. if you just want to break up colour, organza should do that, I think satin would dominate?

I'm still completely useless on which tie style though... now I've looked a few times, I'm even liking three, it does look a bit tousled and slightly messy...but in an artful way :p if you get me?

Just remembered I had a wedding mag with a French vintage wedding feature alas, no chair covers to be found but if you google French vintage, there are some AMAZING ones! Might get some ideas from that? I'll pop a link on your wall to a couple?

Organza, especially if it a light colour. I have been meaning to say, that one of my satin bridesmaids dresses had a tiny stain on it and like an idiot I blotted it with water. Now it has a big water blob stain and has to be dry cleaned. Certain satins show up everything, EVEN water!!!!

I really like the organza ribbon. I think as ur having such rich, luxurious colours the organza would lift it and add a different texture. We're having the brooch (tie 5) to hold ours on as we didn't really want a bow.

Could u not find some sort of brooch with pearls on as u have them throughout ur day? x
