Hi all! Just wanted your opinion; when ordering chair covers do you hire just enough for they day do (in my case 40-50), or just you get extra for people just coming to the evening do? And if you do just get them for the day guests, what do you do with them for the evening? x

im getting enough for day guests only. otherwise you would just have random chairs strewn about, theres no way every single guest will be sat down come evening, you'd like to hope half of them were up mingling/dancing, so i dont really think you need any more

id not really thought about it. if theres room then il just leave them as they are, as long as the dance floor is free then thats all im bothered about. i think they will spill onto the dance floor so i may have to have some shifted

Good question. I wondered about this too - but I have only ordered enough for day guests too.
Our venue move all day tables around and put out a dance floor for the evening so thought they may just remove all covers and add more chairs

i have 289 confirmed guests. there all coming to wedding/ the sit down meal then the evening, so iv ordered 300 chair covers, i want my evening chairs to look as nice as my day ones x

We will only have enough for day guests, hopefully we will have people up and dancing in the evening, hanging around the bar, outside enjoying what is hopefully nice weather and therefore we won't need extra seating xx

wow that's a big wedding! :) the chairs aren't too bad at our venue so I'm still undecided about whether to get them,I might wait til closer to the time and see if I have some spare cash! x

Going back to chair covers, depends on the chairs. We had really nice chairs anyway so left them as they were. If we had chair covers as well it would have made the room look overcrowded.

Glitterfairy we have about 300 guests :-) luckily our church can fit upto 400. our venue is very big :-)

it can sit 500, stand 1000 has a upstairs balcony, its 200 years old, has a real stage, we are having first dance on stage with a spotlight on us,
it has lighting all the way around, so were having pink lights running up the walls as our theme is pink/white, wooden floors, its amazing :-)
