I'm having chair covers but I saved a fortune on mine as MIL made them so we only had to buy the material we are only having them for the meal though as the chairs are two different sizes in our venue so because we are not sure of numbers at night could possibly be 170/180 would mean MIL would have to make at least another 100. We are also having favours I just think they are a nice touch and something your guest can keep as a wee momento of your day xx

we went to an open day this weekend t our venue and saw two rooms...one without chair covers and one with. We now decided that we are puttin some birthday money (half each) to it cos we really want them. personally think it make the room prettier. we not budgeted for it before.

I can't afford the chair covers and sashes for the civil ceremony ( which is in a really boring conference centre type room at our hotel) So I'm having the chairs set out so I can put massive organza bows on the chairs nearest the aile, I might tie a flower in the centre of each too ..... at least it will jazz it up a bit as the chairs are blue and my colour is PINK!! I'm going to keep all the bows and flowers cream.

I am having chair covers just for my reception meal, I'd like them at the evening do but dont want to spend that amount of money. I'm having favours but they are just plain white boxes with teal ribbon around and a gift tag on so they double up as place names too.

im having them as i think it makes the room, H2B says there a waste of money but personally i think there worth it, as for my favours im thinking of having personalised chocolate bars and also doubling these up as name places, i dont think people will care if you dont have them but it adds that special thankyou touch for all of your guests to take with them. x

We aren't having chair covers. I don't think people notice them- whereas food drink and entertainment, or centrepieces they do. They are just going to be sitting on them after all! However, if you like them, go for them!

Im having chair covers and favors,
The Chair covers caused a big enough argument that i relented on the favors and agreed not to have them.
so the H2B doesnt THINK we're having favors but they are gonna sneak in later on in dribs and drabs. Sometimes a girl just has to cheat!

No favours - we are donating to charity and giving them a scroll with a poem on explaining where the favour was instead. As for chair covers - nobody misses them, our chairs aint horrible and they are a rip off in my opinion. You sit on it - it don't need a bow. lol
