I'm at a loose end. I know exactly what I want for my centre pieces but can't find a picture or anything remotely similar to go to a florists with to try and help explain what I want.

I would really like twisted wire spheres (in thin silver wire) with cala lilies and cornflowers wrapped around it, perhaps some wee pearls and a pillar candle in the middle. Any ideas where I can get pics, or even better a florist?! I'm based in Edinburgh but willing to go around central belt to find someone!

Hi there,

I'm a florist and if you find a good floral designer, they should know and be able to create that just from your description. I know quite a few florists all over and am in touch with a lot on twitter, so shall have a look and see if there any recommended in the Edinburgh area for you.

When you have found a florsit, you can always ask then to make you a mock up (might cost you extra) of your idea so you can see it before your big day and decide from there.

Hmmm - these might help if you want to explain what you're looking for, otherwise think about wicker frames like a birds nest to explain to your florist, or, explain what effect you're after and see what ideas they have that could give you something similar?
