Me and my h2b are stuck. With less than 4months to go..we still have stacks to sort.. but there is one thing that we keep coming back to... TABLE CENTRE PIECES! We just cant decide what to do. We do have our usual colour theme of blue and purple... but we want more to fit in with the venue... Twycross Zoo..!
Any thoughts most helpful :)

Can you tie it in with Table names? have you decided on them?
Think if it was me I would be having a cuddly/wooden/photo of specific animals and combing the animal as the table name also ie - centre piece of a cuddly elephant ....table name "elephant enclosure"
I think it would be so much fun and could be made to work in so many ways for example if you have kids you could give them a disposable camera and they had to take pictures of themself with a guest at every table pretending to be that animal etc

Doesnt have to be purple and blue.. just animal themed.. I'm just so stuck. My h2b went off on one about big shields and trees and things.. not into thst idea.. !

Charlyzard I would have loved to get married at a Zoo but I know id never stay inside and would be wandering off watching the animals so couldnt even consider it.
Friends of mine got married at Whipsnade Animal Park and it was THE best!!!

I'm a major animal lover so it was a dead cert... however I cant go to the venue to check on things much and chat to the coordinator...as I literally do get distracted by all of the animals! #Bigkid!

I just typed purple animals into google and eeyore came up!
There are a few blue ideas, such as birds, butterflies, frogs and peacocks. There is even a blue lobster! Never knew that!! I would say elephant, but I think they're more gray than blue.
Butterflies and fish are the only 'realistic' animals that are coming up in purple and blue. Dragons are coming up as well though if you're into that sort of thing.

I really like Munchkinpies idea - but I wouldn't put a cuddly toy on the table but a little fleet of plastic animals (like Schleich - though they are expensive). You could build a whole story around each "enclosure".
