I'm looking into caterers today and hopefully getting some quotes. What would you girls consider a fair price for a buffet for 80 people?
Also any other advice on this?

yes ask your caterer do they source their ingredients locally and if not where do they get it from, dont forget the price your paying for food doesnt just mean the food, your paying for the overheads & wages of the staff cooking etc xx

It depends on the kind of food they will be serving and if it is a hot or cold buffet. You can get most places to serve up some sarnies and sausage rolls out of bags etc but if you want something a little more upmarket then that will be reflected in the price. Also find out if they provide things like linen, plates etc.
