We can't afford a car from a wedding hire company so instead we are borrowing a friends car (jaguar) and just buying the car ribbons from the bay for 4 pounds. I don't know if that helps but it's always an option x

I've heard that funeral companies hire there cars out for a lot less & some taxi firms have prestige cars as part of their fleets.

We struggled with this too, they are so expensive, we had a purple beetle which a guy does weddings as a side line ge was very reasonable, where abouts in hampshire are you?

The prices of wedding cars are ridiculous! But as already mentioned some taxi companies have nice cars that they only hire out for events so this is worth a look. Also you could always hire a nice car for the day (merc, jag, bmw etc) and find someone to drive it and buy the ribbons to attach yourself, this works out sooooooo much cheaper than hiring from a wedding company xxx
