i did this for my daughters 18th with a top fashion designer ... he not only sent a letter but also a gift from his then new homeware collection ... And almost 2 years on we are still in touch with him and he is following my daughters university career

April - I emailed a big premiership team asking for a letter for my son's birthday (in June) from his fav player. They emailed back within 24 hours and we got the letter itself 5 days later, so you never know!
Thinking about doing the same for OH for our wedding now.

MCFC. I just emailed their marketing/customer service email from the website saying his birthday was coming up and that he was a huge fan, followed them religiously and it would really make his day to have a letter from his fav player wishing him a happy birthday and thanking him for support, particularly as we couldnt grant his one wish to watch a home game this year! They even sent it signed by his fav player (although I realise they probably have a bank of signatures saved for this very thing so not technically personally signed!) but my son will love it. Was very impressed, particularly as our local team have not even replied yet!
Oh and didnt have to send stamped addressed envelope, just emailed my address and they sent it in 'do not bend' envelope themselves.

I emailed LFC and as a while had passed thought nothing had come of it. I came home tonight and I have a lovely certificate from them congratulating us personally and all the team's signatures are on it. OH is going to be so impressed.

I emailed LFC through their customer services page on the website on Monday and yesterday they had sent me a PDF attached to an email with a nice certificate with all the team and Brendan Rodgers signatures. It made me have a huge smile on my face looking at it knowing my OH will love it. Best get some nice paper and a frame for it now to wrap it up and put it in on the Wedding day!

What do you say to them? Would it be something like
Hi I am getting married next year and my partner is a huge fan of sia furler and her music. Her music has helped him through a very difficult time recently. And I know asking her to sing would be completely out of the question mainly due to the cost but am looking for a gift for him and wondered if it could be possible to get a signed letter or something from sia for him. Thank you.
What do you think? Would it be ok? her music helped him through the tragic death of his father and I just want to try :) x
