We are looking for a self drive wedding car for my H2B and his best man. They are both really into cars and he would like something like a Lamborghini. Does anyone know of anywhere that does sensibly priced cars for the day considering he will only be in it for about 40mins!! All the ones we have found so far have been quite expensive.

i had a problem finding a company that didnt charge the earth, thankfully my H2B is into old american muscle cars, which lowered the premium and price majorly and meant that i could afford to get him the car for the whole weekend....have you considered anything like this hun?

ooooo Raycheroo I like the sound of that!!! Does anyone know of any not too expensive wedding car contacts in or around staffordshire? I'm really struggling to find affordable cars for me and bridesmaids..... H2B has a supercharged landrover that is his baby, so he wants to come in that..... suits me..... will make for interesting wedding photos at least. :)

Natalie, have you looked at taxi firms? Oftentimes they offer executive cars at better rates than wedding companies

hi sarah, no not yet..... how do i know which firms will be likely to have executive cars? or do most of the bigger companies have them? And do they have taxi plates?? coz i'm not sure my H2b would be very keen on us paying for a car with taxi plates when we could just use his dads Jag....... this is all a lot more complex than I had expected :p lol

I can imagine hiring a Lamborghini, whether for a wedding or not, would be very expensive (I did a quick search and couldn't find a price less than £750!!!). I'd say stick to the Jag ;)
