Im SO excited. Off to our venue again Sat morning Get to run through the costings as we need to tweak the package a bit for numbers. Get to ask all my questions and put down our deposit!!!
So far i will be asking * can we have a discount for guests staying at the hotel? * What time can i have access to the room the day before * What time can i have access to the bridal suite on the day (hoping from 7am so i dont have to pay to stay the night before and just arrive dead early) * Can we bring some giant garden games for the inbetweeny bit (after ceremony and whilst room changed round for wedding breakfast) * Can we have a cheesecake or are they able to provide cheese alongside our sausage and bacon baps in the evening * Am i able to decorate tables or can the staff there do it? (not sure if i want to or if i can give control over yet!)
Is there any really obvious questions i should be asking that i have not thought of? Any advice greatly received!!

Thanks hun will double check that. I have a midnight closure on bar/band/dj in my mind but will clarify. I know she said residents can carry on drinking until 5am!!!

Is confetti allowed? (and assorted other things that seem to be randomly prohibited in other venues!) Are there restrictions on photography? (mainly signing of the register)
Gah, we need to go and have a similar conversation with oiur venue, I had a load of questions written down and now can't find it! If I do I'll post up some more! Also confirm exactly what's in the package, I head a story (possibly on here, lol) where the venue charged extra for the crockery the meal was served on!

check on shape of regsitrars table. We thought it was rectnagular but its circular which isnt going to work for us so good job we found out. Think of all of these little details. I think theres a thread somewhere on here about key Q's to ask your venue.

Give them the time of the service and ask what time food will be served (get times for if you're having speeches before or after). x
