I planned on having a very plain wedding cake with just a few decorations on so after looking at a few last year and being shocked by the prices I decided it would be very easy to do that my self at a fraction of the cost. So after looking into it I found that 2 if the common supermarkets sold plain white iced cakes in 3 sizes all ready to just stack on top of each other and decorate, so I bought my decorations. Now it is getting closer to the date I have just looked them up again and I can't find them anywhere, I'm starting to slightly panic now as I only have 3 months to go. Had anybody seen these recently, I'm hoping it's just me not looking properly. Any help will be much appreciated. Xxx

If your thinking of the supermarkets your on about i havent seen them in there for months, I was looking at doing the samething but couldnt find them so went to m&s. Hope your able to find them again. Have you thought about calling the places to see if they do them or you may have to order them in now x
asda have them but usually only stock one size unless you order online xx

Thanks lady's it was Tesco and asda I had seen them in and iv just checked on line and they only do one size now. I did look on the market & so website but I could only find decorated ones. I'll try have another look. The supermarket ones were so cheap aswell. Xxx

Urm how about going to a cake shop or three if its three tiers and say you want a plain cake example 6inches in one 8 inches in the other and 12 inches in the other dont tell them its for a wedding tell them its just for a garden party so you want it plain as you arnt having a theme its just for tea and cake after? that way it might be cheaper than them doing three tiers xx

I never thought of that, but that's a great idea. The thing is as soon as you mention the word wedding everything triples in price.

So just dont tell them, say its a garden party or for a family get together if you order three in one shop theyll guess for sure though x
