I was thinking about this. I've been quoted £160 for jars of sweets on a table. On the basis of it not being ina really nice cart etc I figured I could do it cheaper by buying the jars from ikea and big packs of sweets from the cash and carry. Priced it up and I can do it for at half the price and that's with secially printed sweet bags with our names on x

I am doing my own. I'm slowly putting by bags of Haribo's and other things that seem to be on offer for £1 ish. I'm buying jars from Ikea, which I can then use at home or sell on afterwards. I'm making my own backdrop and decorations, buying a cheap wad of paper bags, which I am printing myself. The only thing I haven't figured out is scoops or little nippers for picking up the sweets...
I think the thing to remember is to not over-buy. Not all the adults will want a bag full, if any.

I'm doing my own. We are having a willy wonka themed candy buffet rather than a cart. Although the carts look very pretty! I think a table is more practical as well, because the carts are quite limited with space. x
