    Hi ladies

I asked my venue how much is there candle package. They said it is £35 and they provided pillar candles and tea lights which will be replenished thoughout the day. They place them on the 2 fire places and the tea light are placed around the room.Do you think it is worth it???? I asked if I could supply my own but not sure if its worth the trouble hunting them down because we would need alot.... What do you think???

I think thats not bad £35 to keep candles going all day, buying the candles etc i think its good saves you the stress of finding them and checking them to see if they are still lit etc etc x

I got 100 8-hour tea lights for about £20 online ... I guess it depends how long each will last and how many you are having xx

i agree with lotbot, sounds a good price and if you are having a lot could you really be bothered walking around making sure they are all lit !!! its your time to shine so let someone else have that worry !

i dont think that is a bad price if they will replenish throughout the day, especially as pillar candles can be quite expensive.

although i have bought all my tea light holders for just over £12.00 and i can get 8 hr burning time candles for £3.00, but i know that staff at my venue leave it all up to me, so i will have to delegate to someone to light them at the beginning.

    xx

if they are constantly replacing them then yeah as it saves you a job etc. I think it will give an added feel to the place so I would use candles. For a november wedding it will really look pretty

They said the put tea light along the wooden panelling on the wall... I think thats a bit dangerous tho but Im sure they have cleared it with health and safty. Its a large room too so it will need alot of tea light. I might just go for it so I dont have the stress of checking them.

As the others have said seems a good price n if ur having loads the it's not just money to u think it's also time sorting them all out. My mil2b has just finished making my holders n think for around 50 candle holders n enough candles to keep going it's cost me about £25. I wasn't offered a package was just told I had to make sure the holders cover the flame, but if I was offered for that price I'd go for it! Let them burn there fingers trying to light them lol

I agree - that's a good price and it's one less job for you!
Plus if there's an accident involving candles (which obviously I hope there isn't!) it'll be on them, not you :)
    xx

I'm not allowed candles for table centres - which i want coz its very me - due to health and safety. There is a wee dining room inbetween the foyer and the reception room where people can sit and chill and i can put candles in there on top of the fire place and stuff but its not the same as having in the reception room with us.x

    Hi.
I'm also having a candlelight package and they replenish the candles through out the night so I think it's definitely worth paying £35
    It'll look lovely
