I'm getting married on the 5th November, Bonfire Night. The ceremony starts at 2.30pm and I'm getting married by Candle Light.
I'm filling the two large fireplaces in the room with church pillar candles, I'm using lanterns with pillar candles inside to line the aisle, Candelabras in the windows, tea light's lining the stage and the registrar's table.
Our reception is also being held by Candle Light.
My centrepieces are hurricane vases with a pillar candle inside, I'm using 8 tea lights around the vase, tea lights on the top table, the candelabras in the windows and 2 giant standing cast iron Candelabras.
Sound's a lot and it probably is but I can't think of anything more romantic! I can't wait to see how it look's on the day and the best thing about it all is...
My Venue are giving me all the candles. I don't have to buy a single one!!
Is anyone else doing something similar???

We're planning to fill the evening reception with candles. I love candle-light and want the whole thing to look like fairyland.

That's fantastic that they're supplying all the candles!!! What a saving :) our venue has lots of bookcase/shelves that are split into little boxes and they have tea lights in each one - they do this every day so we've asked if we can have them for our do and they've agreed. I'm doing the centre pieces though which is a moroccan lantern with a candle in and a few flowers at the bottom :)

I have almost the same!! I have hurricane vase centrepieces, with a big pillar candle inside. And then 4 sparkly silver votive candles around that, with 4 small vases of flowers in between them.
then at night when the big round tables get put away and the long rectangular ones come out I have MORE candles to spead up the middle of the tables.
Also have outdoor candles to line the path outside towards the car park.
one advantage of getting married in the winter.
