I was going to go to Niagara falls for the honeymoon but changed my mind as its gonna be cold in September and I want a sunny honeymoon. Toronto is also nice.

If the honeymoon is in September be warned it may not be as nice as more southern areas, eg, Cuba, Hawaii etc.. but it's up to you where you go. Canada is a fantastic place and I look forward to a holiday there as a married couple in the next few years after wedding (unless we spend it all elsewhere like we usually do). :D

Actually forgot about taking into account the weather as we will probably be travelling around October time so will have to see what the temperatures will be like then.
Vancouver sounds the place for us though I would love to visit Niagara falls as well - oh the decisions :-))))

The Porky Prince and I have been offered 2 weeks in Stratford, Ontario for our Honeymoon. Niagara Falls is 2 hours away..the US border is 3-4 hours..I think thats what we will be doing..Stratford is a lovely town in a stunning area..and I don't care if it is chilly..i am not a heat seeker!

i have been 2 vancouver twice and love it, they have great parks such as stanley park where you can cycle round, get a boatride, look at the wooden totum poles. plenty of shoping places, must do capilano suspension bridge and go to a mountain such as grouse or whistler which has a christmas shop. can go whale watching in victoria, there is so much to do. my relatives from vancouver are coming over for my wedding and we are tempted to go back with them for a couple of weeks

Oh wow Amie it seems like I shall be spoilt for choice - thanks for all the info, now need to figure out what will be cheaper, planning this thing ourselves or getting a travel agent to sort it for us.
Oh I can't wait - better start saving on top of what we need for the wedding, boohhooooo

if it helps it was cheaper for us to do it separatly, we booked a house for 10 days, did car hire and fligts separate and it worked out a lot cheaper! and amie stanley park was the best, we spent most days there! x
