Im walking down the isle to from this moment by shania twain and have got a solo singer singing it. She just said bout singer most of it before i start 'the walk' down the isle so it finishes as i reach the top so i dont have an awkward stand at the top of the isle. But i think that might seem odd her singing for like 3minutes before i start walking and i also think i might like just to get the top of isle and there is like a minute left just for me to take it all in and catch my breath. But i just dont know what part to walk into, its all these little things that i know are gonna panic me now i aint got long left.

when you go for a trail, or go see the room . Practice the walk.Time how long it takes you to walk down to the bottom of the isle.

Then once you have that time (say 40 seconds) take the length of the song (ie. 3 min 25 sec) minus the 40 seconds, minus any time you want to stand before the song finishes (say a 10 second breather) and then put the song to 2 minutes 50 seconds, you will find a rough indication of when to start walking.
Obviously the solo singer might sing the song faster/slower than the cd, thats only something she can help you with. But it will give you a rough idea, and help you stop stressing hopefully

Can you ask her to cut a verse and chorus? A lot of backing tracks can easily be altered...

I know when I walked down the aisle the music I had chosen was more than 4 minutes long but the organist asked us which part of the tune we liked best and played only a part of it at the wedding ceremony. Although even with that it did still play for a wee while after I got to the altar. So it may be worth asking the solo singer if she thinks cutting the song down a bit would be ok, that's if you are happy with that.

have a trial with her singing it, or a recording then you can walk faster or slower depending on her that way on the day you can get it just right on the day, good luck
