hi all, need a bit of advice really. was planning on only having one bridesmaid, my bestfriend but would it really be wrong not to invite her boyfriend? they have been together over a year, recently split up as he is a jealous control freak. i worked so hard to get her into a new flat and away from him which she wanted although she still slept with him and has now got back together with him and is moving in with him again soon. we went out at new yr when they were only friends and he ruined the night as usual by yelling at her and getting jealous but my friend wont listen to me. i dont want a repeat of that night at my wedding but i dont want to hurt her either, help!

Worry about it next year when its time for the invites to go out. It may not last... or they may have a kid and be engaged by then!

I'd sit on this one until you need your guest list finalising. If he really is what you say he is then she might just see the light or you never know, he might change his ways (stranger things have happened lol)

My best suggestion would be this - if they are still together then for your bff I'd invite him BUT have someone keeping vigil on the day (usher/best man etc) if he starts to misbehave then have him ejected, that way no-one can say YOU were the villain of the piece

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

No, don't invite someone you don't like!
Say that she'll be too busy being your only BM to be with him and he will be on his own!

I agree with Dove, worry about it closer to the time and if there still together i would only invite him to the reception and get someone to keep an eye on him. One yell at your friend then out the door he goes.

I have to agree with the others, don't stress youself out about it yet as you have a while before any decisions have to be made and a lot can happen in a year! just concentrate on the good stuff and get into your planning :0)xxx
