    Hi Ladies, some advice please

I am getting married next August - 31st - but am having trouble deciding who is giving me away.

My dad died 9 years ago so therefore I now need to decide who is giving me away but I cant decide between my brother and my uncle! I want them both to do it but not sure if it would look silly and whether its appropriate? Its not even a decision I want to make but I have to make my mind up as it has a bearing on how many suits we need and we cant sort the suits out until this is sorted out!

    Any thoughts would be great!

    Kerry xx

Go for it. Like madison_uk says though, make sure there is enough room as you don't want to be squashed and bumping into each other. I think its a lovely idea though.

It sounds lovely having both of them. I had to decide who was going to give me away as lost my dad last year but it was easy for me to decide on who have chosen my uncle as only have the one and I cannot stand my brother.

I really wanted my 12 year old son to give me away. Its my second marriage and my son and daughters adore my h2b as there real father wont have anything to do with them. Didnt want to upset my dad though, even though i know he would understand so im having them both give me away. The venue is just making the aisle a bit longer :) x x

I am doing something similar and I like Becky idea. My dad is 77 and registered blind so not very comfy walking down the aisle infront of everybody, so we have agreed that my son will walk me down the aisle but then my dad will be at the bottom to take my hand and do the actual giving away, you could do something similar in having your brother walk you down the aisle and then your unlce taking your hand and doing the giving away bit. x x
