Decided to go for foam flowers- means I can keep them forever, plus much cheaper!! I have seen lots of flowers of eBay but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if they know that the ones on ebay are good- would be gutted if I still paid 30-40quid for a bouquet and it looked naff. I am in the Northamptonshire area, so if anyone local can suggest anyone then great, but any suggestions welcome! :)

i have had some foam roses of ebay and have to say they were great and sold in bulk as well as smaller numbers will pop the link on your wall if you want it they came quickly and with free delivery i think and they had loads of colours x

ill put a link on your wall of where i got my bouquet the place was recommended to me by another bride on here and they were really reasonable, i also got myself a corsage to wear after the church so ive still got some sort of flower on me n that was off the bay of E!.... i got my BMs ones off the bay too and just added to them myself..im gonna put some pics into my albums if u wanna see! loves x

shelley i will be ordering mine from there too! She sent me a sample not long ago and they were so real-looking! Unfortunately though she has had some personal issues so is taking a few months out to settle down before getting back to business. If you go on her profile you might see a few people complaining but this is just due to recent events, she has been fabulous in the past (or so I hear!) She should be back up and running again in the next 2 months or so :-) xxx

I ordered some flowers for my sisters wedding from Flowers by Trudy. I paid £87 this year for bride, MOH, BM plus 8 adult button holes and a baby one. The flowers were beautiful I can should you pics if you like? this included postage. She packages them very very well and were perfect!!! definatly recommend her. Search for her on FB :)

oh great, yes would be interested to see :) Will have a nosey of fb too. I have to admit im rather fearful about arranging the flowers, because im totally stuck as to what I really need..I can manage to get my head around the bouquets,button holes etc but struggling with what I need for the reception venue. Our hotel provide candleabras on the tables so, needs to be an arrangement that can either sit on top, or below the base of the candleabra, or even flower garlands wrapped around. Confused as to whether I need to set it up though or I get the hotel to do it. Thanks for your suggestions so far ladies!!

You will probably have to decorate the candelabra yourself but double check with the venue. This is the benefit of using a florist because they'll bring everything , set it up, and sometimes even take it away (hence all the expense).

I deffinetly cannot afford a florist with real flowers.. 80 quid just for 1 bouquet, its ridiculous when it dies 2days later! lol I would imagine the hotel would set up the room, but have emailed them to check this :)
