Hi all got a question for you all. Im ttc #1 ive had some signs so far (they could be pregnancy related or just nothing!!!) they are extreme tiredness,nausea and sore boobs. although i have checked the early pregnancy symptom bit on another website and that said there could be signs. however this morning i was at work, and i started to get cramping and have had some kinda lke dark brown blood or discharge not sure what it is can anyone shed any light please?

i had that with all my pregnancy and its very common to have some bleeding early in a pregnancy i have found a link that explains it all better then i can so will pop it on your wall

i had that hun its called spotting, i had early scans because of it! If you want to rest your mind go to the docs and ask for a blood test. First response pregnancy tests are supposed to be good for early testing but they did not work for me i was late and they still showed negative. I would say dont panic, and that your symptoms could all very well lead to pregnancy. I have my fingers crossed for you. x

My sister had spotting in both of her pregnancies. I would definatly get a test soon hun, il keep my fingers crossed for you & let us know how you get on :) I also had these symptoms a few months ago but wasnt a pregnancy unfortunatly :(

If it is brown blood then it is old blood, if it was bright red it was fresh, get a test and see the outcome. Not sure how it works in your area but if you are pregnant and bleeding, you should go to A&E and not maternity if you are under 12 weeks.

i did 2 tests the week after my due on date both negative i only tested again like 2.5 to 3 weeks later due to being sick so i havemy fingers crossed for you :) xx

Well if anyone can help me on this on it would be so much appreciated. i did a prgnacy test today (the one where lines are supposed to show) now the control line showed and so di the test line YAY but...... the test line showed across the way????? the lines are meant to be up and down the way i spoke to someone on here earlier who confirmd what i was thinkin that line would only be picked up if there was any hcg but why was it across the way? and not the same direction as control line im confused can anyone shed any light?

I think its they way they are made that they can sometimes put the test strip in the wrong way so the line goes in the opposite direction. But to be sure hun I would go and get another test or go to the docs to get a test. xxxx

had one like that was positive go to the doctors with it and they will let you do another pee test for free, the blood can be the egg inbedding itself i had it with my daughter, good luck

its true the poundland ones should basically do the same as any other they just dont have the fancy plastic wand lol
though tescos own brand are good too and funny thing is they tend to have the pack of 2 for the same price as a pack of 1 (last time i checked anyway lol) only about £3.50
I'll admit to being a naughty Mod and only skimming through the replies, so sorry if anyone's already replied this but:
The bleeding, espeically considering it is brown/old blood, could possibly be implantation bleeding, which is exactly as it says on the tin, where the embryo implants itself in the womb.
How far away from AF are you? For testing purposes
