Hi ladies, I'm wanting to use an invitation kit (I'm no good at cutting around corners neatly) for some petal fold or lily pad style invites. The cheapest I have found with ribbon remotely near to the colour of my choice (a kind of dusky pink/rose, carnation dessy bridesmaid dresses) are £3.25 and this may be as reasonable as I can get but I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or thoughts on ways that I can do this for any less? I' m open to any suggestions and any thoughts would be greatly received xx

i found lovely stuff on Ebay, different theme, but if you search you might just find something.

i was going to do my invites and save the dates etc myself, but the stuff i've found is sooo reasonable, £1 per invite including envelope etc....

    hope you find something x

Hi Laura thank you for the advice. £1 per invite is really good value I've not managed to find anywhere near that yet. Did you find you invites on ebay in this country or have you had to have them sent from abroad? Also did you mean that you ended up getting them ready assembled?

Thank you enny, I think theres just too much choice out there and I really don't know where to start. I just can't seem to find any that coordinate with my colour. Theres alot of baby pinks and fuscia pinks but not alot of dusky pinks :o(

Jill, thank you for the template. Can you order these petal fold packs or is it just the template to cut them out yourself?

laulyloons, sorry for the late reply! It was in this country, just someone down south!

i messaged her a question today and she hasn't opened up any new items to catch up with current orders. I've posted a pic of my invite in my folders, thats what cost me £1 and the envelope is included.

I don't have the time to do them myself with a 3month old to look after, and I too couldn't find anything I liked that was a decent price! all through the roof!

My entire stationary requirements including menus/order of service/placecards/guestbook is all under £350 with using Ebay...

theres a website which has the card pocket starting at 70p each for 1, the cost goes down as you order more, 100 = £53 for example. do you want the details? You'd need to do the paper inserts and ribbon separately
