Hi, firstly apologies if this isn't in the right place I'm brand new! I'm hoping some lovely ladies in the south east Cornwall and/or Plymouth area can give me some suggestions for wedding venues. I've given myself the impossible task and set my wedding date for new years eve (sounds great in theory but I'm only a few weeks into planning and it is already proving to be a nightmare). I have already been to look at Pentille Castle which is stunning but I think even with the best budgeting and compromise it will be too expensive. Hotel's don't really want to know as Whitsand's bay informed me they already have tried and tested NYE events and they would loose too much money if they were to host a wedding instead. I'm looking for somewhere which can host the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening do (65 guests for the ceremony and breakfast and an additional 35 in the evening) I would like somewhere which could accommodate the bridal party minimum, for the night before and the night of the wedding, but a place which could accommodate all 100 guests should they choice to stay would be perfect. The only other requests is that the premises has or would be willing to acquire an extended licence and would allow fireworks. Any suggestions are much appreciated as I am in the process of asking any and all suitable venues if they would be able to host my wedding. I'm currently waiting on an answer from them, but to be honest I'm a bit concerned if we were to get married there my h2b would miss the ceremony as he'd be off playing golf along with 50% of my other guests lol

Haha yeah I'd have the same concern... I don't live in Cornwall but I'm there regularly with work and have colleagues live there so will ask them for you also
